FIA GT3 European Championship
Zandvoort (NLD)
October, 14th – 16th, 2011
Swedish pilot Max Nilsson will compete in a GT race again next weekend. He will race for Team Reiter Engineering at the Dutch circuit in Zandvoort, sharing a Gallardo LP600+ with Dutch pilot Henry Zumbrink.
It is the final race of the GT3 European Championship season and Max Nilsson will use the race as a preparation for the 2012 racing season. A few days ago he tested the Gallardo thoroughly at the Hockenheimring. Nilsson competed in the 2010 and 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship.
Max Nilsson:
“I am finally back in the racing car and can race again. I want to have fun in Zandvoort and drive the car a lot. It is a new track for me and I hope that I can use the free practice sessions to get to know it better.
I was able to test the Lamborghini for a day this week and it went quite well. In contrast to GT1 cars the GT3 cars have an ABS brake. Therefore braking is completely different and I still have to get used to that.”
